Carla has asked about our 5* knowledge...so I posted this in the comments section...but thought it was worth posting....
Carla-Stacey and I went 5* last time around (Minneapolis/St. Paul Show) (see the first threads for details) but the tickets were $375 each and included about 5-7 minutes of "face time" with 9 other girls. How it works is like this: You get in line and go to table one...there you will give up your camera, have your bag searched, get a lanyard with a letter on the back (a,b,c--which is the order you will go in to meet them) and then get a goodie bag. You'll be able to do some quick shopping before you are told to get in your group to head back to a private room/bar area. All the girls are eventually escorted back to the same room where you can enjoy some snacks, free drinks (coupons given to you) and chat. Robo will come in and give you the rules...no camera's, cells phones or anything to be autographed. Then he'll ask groups A,B,C (in our case all three at once) to line up. A is first obviously as they will go in first. Then as everyone is pushing shoving crowding and all that the guys come in. In Minneapolis we had a private room off of the main bar area and they headed into that. Robo then let's group A in, you mingle with the guys (if you can call it that, it's more like a hi, thanks hug, move on) but it's a HI! Thanks! and a HUG!!!!! then ILAA is saying it's time for pictures...so you turn and smile....then you have about 1 minute after that to finish up before they're shoo-ing you out of there. It's totally worth it even if it sounds like it's not cuz that's alot of money for 5-7 minutes...but please keep in mind you are guaranteed a spot in the first 10 rows---and that alone if you were to purcase off of ticket site is gonna run you probably MORE than that...also things will sell out MUCH more quickly now that a tour has been done and word has gotten out. If you can afford it, I'd say do it---it's really fun...yes it goes quickly but it sets the tone for the entire experience...they were all wonderful wonderful wonderful people, friendly nice and very sweet. All in all I'm not sorry that the cost was 375 for 5-7 minutes! (but now you see that the cruise is actually a pretty great deal!) LOL

It has been posted on www.nkotb.com by Jared that there are fraudulent tickets being sold on ebay. No tickets for the upcoming spring tour are on sale yet. Regular or ILAA. These that are being sold will not be honored as they are fake. Someone else posted that www.gotickets.com also has postings for NKOTB tickets.
Please be careful before buying tickets on Ebay and other places like this for tickets.

Here is an article from The Daily Star, with some rumored information about a possible future album
NEW KIDS On The Block want to transform themselves into OutKast by releasing solo material as one entity.
Like the Hey Ya! duo, who record separately then put out the songs in one collection, the reformed manband are toying with the idea for the future.
Ahead of their UK tour opening in Manchester last night, Joey McIntyre told me: “We all want to make more music – my creative juices are flowing. Donnie was talking about solo albums and putting them together like OutKast.
“Whatever is it that we do after the tour has to be exciting for us.
“We’re not going to have a bunch of producers write songs and we simply sing them.”
Comeback album The Block has been hugely received by fans.
Now New Kids are set to give something back to their supporters by inviting them on a cruise.
The five-piece – Joey, Danny Wood, 39, brothers Jon, 40, and Jordan Knight, 38 and Donnie Walhberg, 39, will entertain on a jaunt from Florida to The Bahamas over May 15-18.
And fans from around the globe can buy tickets from their official website.
Joey explained: “We know our fans will like the idea of having us alone on a ship.
“It’s going to be the busiest time of our year – we’re going to be waiting on them fine people hand and foot. We’ll do two shows, have meet and greet and have aftershow parties.”
Sounds like the band won’t be getting a second of kip – a bit like their newly crowned superstar pal Lady GaGa, 22, above, who features on The Block’s saucy track Big Girl Now.
Joey, 35, said: “She had a lot of energy when we worked with her and she came on our US tour.
“I’m not surprised to see her blow up.
“She was very focused, really talented and fun.”

Have I NO SHAME?!
The answer is a resounding NO! when it comes to NKOTB! sorry...I have to come clean. I told my hubby that I wouldn't, obviously do any summer tours if I could go on the cruise..it was like ok do the texas "tour" or cruise...well I chose the cruise. Little did I know THREE measly little days later they'd come out with these SPRING tour dates (not summer, mind you) and the first one on the list is literally about 5 minutes from my house! If push came to shove I could walk to the venue in about an hour!! we're talking CLOSE...I had decided not to push my luck asking if I could go...
however, HE called me and was like "Did you hear?" I was like "Hear what? What happened?" (by this time I'm thinking he's heard!) but I play dumb....why let the cat out of the bag if he's talking about a Nuke going off in the Middle East!? right!?!? So I say again "what's goin on?" He's playing it out (Now I'm 100% sure he knows) he's like seriously I know before you....(hahahaha, silly man...you just THINK you know before me) and I'm like "What?" He says "I just heard NKOTB is gonna be playing at Borderfest in March" I'm like "Whatever" (Totally playing dumb cuz if I come out and act like I know he's gonna totally say no I can't go....so I'm working my woman's mind the way we do and I continue on. "Why would they come to lil po-dunk borderfest? Gimme a break" he's like "no really, a girl here just told me, she was like your wife likes New kids right?" and he related the story to me, then went on line and searched it out (such a closet fan!!) and then called me! I'm like ok and get online and check the boards (the thread I started for HIDALGO and read through a couple then go *GASP* I can hear him on the other end (sounding smug) "What? What happened?" he said (Oh so innocently) I'm "Right here on NKOTB.com it says Hidalgo, TX.... He's like well maybe your cruise won't go through and you can go.
I get super quiet...he's like giddy when he asks what's wrong. I just said "Don't ask me when you know what's wrong" (Never once did I ask to go) and he starts laughing, in the background I hear his co-workers say "What's up?" and he's like "she told me if she went on her cruise no Summer tours" (talking to the person there, not me) and then talks to me again "Do you wish things would have gone differently? maybe made a different choice" I'm like "no, I choose the cruise" Then I got quiet again and he was like "what's wrong?" I'm like "I'm gonna let you go I'm about to cry" (LMAO!!! shame on me!!!) and he starts going "Ohhhh" but laughing...and I said "did you call just to rub it in? that's so mean! you know I'd wanna go why would you do that?" (NO SHAME!!) and he still half laughing and says "oh just get the damn ticket" LOL, of course I'm all like NO that's not fair to the family I said I wouldn't go...and he's like yeeeah...whatever...then laughs at me.

Hey guys!! what's going on today!? It has come to my attention that we've been so bad about giving thanks to those special people that have allowed this obsession to go on for *cough*20*cough*years. LOL.
So let's start at the beginning....
Thank you New Kids for everything that you do, the endless photo shoots, screaming fans, stalker fans (the real kind of Stalker), the papparazzi and concerts. Putting your personal life out there and being in the spotlight 24/7....for sharing it all with us. You all ready know we love you--but thank you for everything you do for OUR ENTERTAINMENT....and Donnie...*whispers* call me. :)
Thanks to my friends, Tiffany, Jenny, Dee Dee, Beth, and of couse Stalker-Stacey!! My cohorts in this little rollercoaster we call NKOTB! For the memories, laughs, shoulders to cry on and indulging in my "DON'T EVEN LOOK AT HIM" (though the threats were real) LOL. I love you all...from the bottom of my heart. Thanks to NKOTB who brought us together your my sisters now and forever!!!
Thank you to our parents for allowing the multiple posters to plaster our bedrooms, our allowances that allowed us to purchase Big Bopper, Bopper, Tutti Frutti and others, christmas money/presents that helped fuel out obsession, concert tickets, driving us to said concerts (THANK YOU KAREN (<--- Stacey's mom) and sorry I ran off on ya when I was 16 and freaked you out...but OMG it was a FREE POSTER! (and I was 16, blonde and totally clueless and obsessed...forgive me?), The sleepovers that you let us have so we could squeal over Hangin' Tough Live and practice our dance moves to make them just like theirs were in the videos. thanks to Mom-Karen too for coming back from Montana to watch the kiddo's and let us get together again and do this cruise so Stacey can take a break!! We love you guys!!
(me and my friend Tiffany, in the early years, it got much worse down the road...we moved to a bigger house and I got a room with two closets..one entire closet was an NKOTB closet which held the comic books, books, puzzles, posters, dolls (that weren't Donnie, cuz I slept with those)...it was AWESOME!)
Thanks to my ex-boyfriend who found fan fiction that my friends and I wrote, when his mom grabbed homework for me from my locker when I was sick and he ran it over to me. Talk about embarassing...but he was totally nice about and was just like "I think my mom grabbed the wrong notebook" I was 7 shades of red, pink, magenta and violet but he never spoke about it again. (probably terrified)

Thanks to our hubbys for letting us do these crazy things and taking care of the house and providing for our family---enough so that we have the opportunity to go on these crazy things!! WE LOVE YOU HEART & SOUL!

Hi fellow "Block-ettes" LOL (Love the UK) Was that video below just awesome or what?! I love that song and to see them perform it *THUNK* *ROWR* Love me some New kids!
Ok so browsin' around the web for some Joey pics I ran across this adorable pic...sometimes boys will just be boys...no matter how old, some things never change!
Also, we've gotten quite a few e-mails asking if we were going on the cruise...the answer is yes we'll be there. We'll be sharing pics, video's and stories. So hang in there guys---we've got our countdown going, diets started and all ready worrying about what we're gonna wear! LOL Please share in the excitement, even if your not able to go...we want this to be fun for everyone!!

He said: "Victoria Beckham just does it for me. She's a cutie. But I rate her husband, so I don't want to say anything out of line!"
Donnie's bandmate Jordan Knight also said he found the band were allowed to be more sexually liberated when they visited the UK on previous tours.
He said: "Every time we went to Britain, we felt looser, could say different things, talk about cooler stuff."
Singer Joey McIntyre added: "We could be randier - we could be 19 or 20-year-old guys instead of squeaky clean pop stars. People are more open in the UK. The fact that you can open page three in the newspaper and there's a topless girl - that kind of sets the tone."
The band - made up of Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny Wood and Jordan's brother Jonathan Knight - say it wasn't just the rudeness displayed by fans they appreciated but also their charm.
Donnie added: "British fans are the most frenetic, funny, witty - very unlike America. You're being swarmed by 20,000 girls, and a fan in London will say, 'Donnie, when you sang that song, it meant a lot to me', while ripping your clothes off. It's charming."
